Roasted Asparagus

This is a quick side dish for any meal and can be combined with other roasted items to multi-task your dinner in a “set it and forget it” kinda way. Think roasted grapes for your salad. Roasted sweet potatoes, and roasted chicken all at the same time! Cooking doesn’t have to be a timesuck!

Ingredients:

1 (1 lb.) bunch of asparagus, ends trimmed

2-4 cloves garlic, minced (depending on your garlic tolerance)

1-2 tablespoons avocado oil

1/2- 1 teaspoon sea salt (or more to taste)

1/4 teaspoon black pepper  (or more to taste)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400*F.

Toss the asparagus and minced garlic in the oil and spread them out in an even layer on a rimmed baking sheet.

Top the asparagus with salt and pepper.

Roast for 10 minutes. or until tender.

Serve.

  4. Roast for 10 minutes.
