Crunchy Oat Granola

Ingredients
  • 1 cup gluten free, organic rolled oats
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil (or coconut oil)
  • Dash salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • Optional:
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pumpkin seeds
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 225*F.
  2. Stir together all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  3. Spread out the mix onto a large baking sheet (preferably lined with parchment paper) in a thin, even layer. Bake for 7 minutes.
  4. Remove from oven and stir. Bake for another 7 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and stir. Bake for another 7 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and stir. Bake for the final 7 minutes.
  7. This will total 28 minutes of cooking (4 rounds of 7 minutes).
  8. You're done and you can eat.
  9. I ate mine like cereal with almond milk. But you can eat with yogurt, alone, out of a snack container, with toppings, etc.
