Dairy Free Pesto

- 1½ cups fresh basil leaves
- 3 cloves garlic
- ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
- ⅓ cup pine nuts or hemp seeds (soaked in water overnight, drained and rinsed)
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- fresh lemon juice from half a lemon
- ½ teaspoon nutritional yeast (optional for a cheesy flavor)
- Blend everything together in a food processor until bright green a fully combined. Serve how you like.
