Dairy Free Pesto

Ingredients
  • 1½ cups fresh basil leaves
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ⅓ cup pine nuts or hemp seeds (soaked in water overnight, drained and rinsed)
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • fresh lemon juice from half a lemon
  • ½ teaspoon nutritional yeast (optional for a cheesy flavor)
Directions
  1. Blend everything together in a food processor until bright green a fully combined.  Serve how you like.
  2. Enjoy!
