Rutabega Hash
(Whole 30 Compliant)
This is the cousin to the sweet potato hash recipe I posted. Â You simply substitute rutabega for sweet potato. Â This is also great for a breakfast potato substitution or a snack. Â It pairs well with eggs or any meat.
I like to make it to eat with my husband when he makes bacon on Sunday!
Don’t forget to add a big green salad!
Ingredients:
1 Rutabega peeled and diced into small pieces
Coconut Oil or Ghee
2-3 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
Salt to taste
Herbs de Provence (or oregano, basil, rosemary mix) to taste
Directions:
Heat the oil/ghee in a pan on medium/high heat. Â When it’s warm add the rutabega and the garlic to the pan together. Let sit for a minute to warm, then toss. Â Add the salt and spices to taste. Â Continue to play the sit and toss game until everything is browned up and cooked through. Â Don’t walk away. Â It takes about 10 minutes. Enjoy!
