Hot Cocoa

For this recipe, I usually just use a regular serving teaspoon, rather than a measuring teaspoon.  It’s easier and makes this recipe more of a “go-to” you can make in minutes.  I guarantee you will memorize it quickly and just be able to make it on a whim!  Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 Cup boiling hot water

1 Teaspoon collagen peptides

2 Heaping teaspoons cocoa powder

4-5 Teaspoons maple syrup

Splash of vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

(Optional: Pinch each of cinnamon and cayenne, OR 2 drops of peppermint oil)

Splash of vanilla unsweetened almond milk

 

Directions:

  1.  Boil your water.
  2. In your desired mug, stir together all but the almond milk.
  3. Pour in the hot water and stir together.  Add the almond milk.
