Lemon Dressing

This is my go-to dressing.  I pretty much put it on every salad that I make from home.  The other ingredietns may vary, but the dressing remains the same.  The lemon is alkalizing and really good for digestion.  Another great recipe if you are battling yeast.  This is a guilt free dressing that you can even make when you are out to eat.  I simply order salad without any dressing and a lemon on the side.  Then I squeeze the lemon over the greens and add some salt.  Easily in control of the ingredients and flavor.  Full satisfaction.  Enjoy!

Ingredients:

Juice from 1 whole lemon

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/8 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Pour all ingredients into small jar and seal.

Shake until ingredients are combined and pour over salad greens.

Alternately, just pour all ingredients over salad and toss together. (this way you don’t need to wash an extra dish, as there is no jar)

*I pictured the dressing above over arugula leaves, but you can really dress anything you like.
